Denim-Spectations with Dricoper

The most flattering pair of jeans I've ever worn. Period.

________

It seems somewhat ridiculous to share this decked-out denim outfit on a sweltering 44-degree day in Perth, but when the weather does decide to be a little kinder, you can count on me to make the most of it. Late last week the temperatures dropped somewhat, making it the perfect excuse to dig out my new denim threads.

I cannot tell you how long I've been waiting to find the perfect pair of ripped-at-the-knees black skinny jeans, and Dricoper has exceeded all expectations. There's one thing to be said about the Aussie label; they make damn good denim. My first pair of Dricoper's were a Vintage Skinny, coincidently also my first pair of blue denim skinnies in a long, long time. I'll be honest, I always had it in my head that blue jeans make my legs look big. I mean, what was I thinking? The Vintage Skinny jeans completely changed my mind on this. In fact, they're the most flattering pair of jeans I've had, period.

The Ripped Jeans, pictured, have the same ultra-flattering cut and fit as the Vintage Skinny's, making legs look longer and slimmer (can I hear a woop-woop?). Not one to shy away from double denim (my friends will attest to this), yet too warm to actually wear a denim jacket, I did what I've been doing for some time now; I tied it around the waist, like a super swagger accessory.

I love a good pair of denim, but a flattering pair of denim? Maybe, just maybe, I'd even wear it on a stinking hot day like today. In the name of fashion, of course.
