Brunch, Body, Beauty and Blogging
The weekly round-up.
________
This past week has been full of content making and catching up with friends, as well as a little pampering (you know, in the name of research).
Brunch in Fremantle. We all know that the best meal of the day of brunch, so Michelle and I headed to Lenny the Ox in Freo during the week on a rainy day, where I sunk my teeth into the most delicious pancakes with blueberries, almonds and lemon curd (they were so yum!). Michelle had the potato hash, which looked equally as amazing and filling. Oh, and the best thing? The coffee was insanely good. Two big thumbs up from me.
Goodbye dull winter skin. I have been using a few new shower products lately from Eco Tan to rejuvenate my pretty lacklustre skin after months of not seeing a whole lot of sunshine. My skin doesn't exactly thrive in layers upon layers of clothing, so I guess I'm just lucky that our winters are so mild. I'm really looking forward to sharing with you my thoughts on products during the coming week.
Working on another blogging article. Since the last post about the things I've learned from blogging was so popular and had such a wonderful response from you guys, I've decided to make it a monthly feature here on Lion in the Wild. Next week I'll be sharing with you some of my blogging must-haves, but if you have any other questions or requests for posts, please let me know here or via my @lioninthewild Twitter. I really loved reading about your experiences, so keep them coming!
I made a new beauty video. And it's going live tomorrow! I had a whole bunch of new Rimmel London products and I was inspired to create another one brand First Impressions video. A lot of you have requested another one after the Urban Decay x Mecca Maxima video went live, so be sure to keep an eye out tomorrow on my YouTube Channel, and of course I will be posting it here too.
Jeans for Genes Day. This week I'm teaming up with Dricoper to support Jeans for Genes Day, which is this coming Friday, 7th August. It's such a privilege to fundraise money to fight childhood diseases, so I had to be onboard Dricoper's campaign where they'll be donating $2 from every sale to the Children's Medical Research Institute, plus 15% off all pairs of jeans using the code 'jeansforgenes' for the month of August. It's such a wonderful cause, so don't forget to don your jeans for the kids this Friday. Learn more about Jeans for Genes Day here.
And now Brad and I are off into the city for dinner with friends. We're going to a Japanese restaurant that I've been wanting to try for ages, so I'm very excited (and hungry!). I hope you all have a great night and an even better weekend! <3
