My Working Week DIY Spa Session
My favourite new indulgent spa products.
________
Of course, a bath isn't a bath without a few pamper products (well, it is, but not nearly as good), so I enlisted a few new favourites from Appelles Apothecary & Lab. If the stylish packaging isn't enough to convince you that you need them, then I'm sure the following will do the trick because, my goodness, they're pretty damn fab. In fact, one of the coolest things about Appelles is how interesting their products and ingredients are; they're not your typical combinations by all means.
Take the Appelles Vitamin B3 Bath Caviar for example. Firstly, it sounds pretty fancy (amiright?) and, the thing is, it kind of is just that. It doesn't just smell like an explosion of delicious musky amber and patchouli, but also leaves skin soft and moisturised after dissolving a handful of the slightly shimmering Bath Caviar in your bath and soaking for as long as you desire.
And if you prefer something a little more classic, you can't go wrong with the Green Seaweed Bath Fizz or Himalayan Bath Salts either. With a lovely ginger lily scent, the Bath Fizz bubbles loudly for some time, releasing actual bits of seaweed as it gets smaller and smaller (it's literally like I've gone for a swim in the ocean, but not), while the pinkish Bath Salts slowly dissolve and detoxify skin.
The Appelles Body Care Duo Pack has become a new everyday favourite. Containing the Willow Bark Hand & Body Wash and Sea Buckthorn Skin Lotion, the duo now sits stylishly on display in my master ensuite (I'm currently trying to track down the perfect bamboo board for them to sit on - obsessed with natural textures at the moment). They're the perfect finishing touches to a mid-week pamper session with a final cleansing, and locking in the hydration and other good stuff.
Quite frankly, if you don't feel recharged, refreshed and ridiculously motivated after a bath time sesh with Appelles, then I don't know what will.
