A Girls Night and A Giveaway
The weekly round-up.
________
Exciting (and huge!) Instagram giveaway. Let's start this weekly round-up in the best way possible, by looking forward to something super exciting. Early next week I'm partnering up with my favourite haircare and styling brands, VO5! Trust me when I say, this is going to be the most epic giveaway I've ever done, so make sure you follow @lioninthewild and @VO5loveshair on Instagram to enter. You have to be in it to win it, right?!
My Implanon experience. As many of you probably already know, but earlier this week I had a simple procedure not go exactly to plan. Long story short, I was supposed to have my Implanon removed from my arm, but unfortunately it had been inserted too deep and, after over an hour, my doctor decided he just could get it. It wasn't the best feeling in the world (actually, I couldn't feel my whole arm at all!), especially since I'd had a bad feeling about the whole thing in the first place (I'm usually so good with these kinds of things). Anyway, now I'm hoping my specialist is able to get it out on Tuesday with the aid of an ultrasound so he knows exactly where it is. He's trying to avoid surgery for obvious reasons, so keep your fingers crossed for me! Has anyone else had an experience like this?
Girls night. Or, I should say, mum and daughter night! On Friday, I kicked Brad out for the night (heh-heh-heh, just kidding!) and mum came over for some quality girls time. We used to have nights like this all the time, but now we're so damn busy that it's so hard to find the time anymore. Needless to say though, it was so lovely spending time with my mum; you know, wine, dinner, chocolate, popcorn, a movie and lots of chit chat.
Outdoor furniture shopping. Brad and I have been searching for the perfect outdoor lounge recently, and we're having a difficult time. I mean, why do they always sell the nicest lounges in these huge sets? Ugh, talking about annoying. We went out to a whole bunch of stores yesterday, but only found one that we liked for our outside space so far. One things for sure though, we seriously need to find one before summer begins so we can spend our days lounging in our new alfresco.
Smith & Co from The Aroma Therapy Company. Woah, this range is seriously cool. I mean, one look at the packaging (pictured) is enough to want absolutely everything in this chic yet traditional range from The Aroma Therapy Company. I've been trialling it over the weekend, so I can't wait to share with you my thoughts (hint: it's amazing!).
What did you get up to this week?
