Bronzed, Flushed and Highlighted for Spring
A few new palettes by Sephora that are going straight into my seasonal beauty bag.
________
I've actually had these stunning Sephora palettes in my makeup collection for a while, but I've been waiting for the perfect moment to try them out (swishing a brush into a new palette is strangely a huge thing for me - is anyone else like that?), and there seems no perfect time than now at the beginning of our Aussie spring. To be honest, I wasn't sure if these palette would work for me, especially the Sephora Collection Sun Disk Bronzer with it's trio of shades. I thought the apricot shade would look too orange on me, especially since I am naturally so pale (AKA a little bronzer goes a very long way), but it was actually really flattering and super easy to blend. When the weather warms up, I like to sweep bronzer across my nose as well as the outer edges of my face for that natural sun kissed look.
I used the Sephora Collection MicroSmooth Baked Sculpting Contour Trio in Sophisticated to, you guessed it, sculpt my cheekbones. I then swiped the pink blush from the Sassy trio on the apples of my cheeks (a little more than I usual would for that extra flush). I also used the amazing luminizer from said palette to the top of my cheekbones, the tip of my nose and my cupids bow. I've decided I really really like this highlighter. If you want some serious strobing, this is the product for you.
To finish the look, I swiped on the Neek Skin Organics Vegan Lipstick in Whole Lotta Rosie with the Estée Lauder Double Wear Stay-in-Place Lip Pencil in Brick and the ModelCo Shine Ultra Lip Gloss in Striptease, a very wearable daily combination that I'm loving.
What are your favourite bronzer, blush and illuminator palettes for spring?
PS. I'm wearing the Three of Something Supernova top.
