Luxury, Lipsticks and Lashes
The weekly round-up.

My favourite blog tips post yet. It feels damn good when you put so much into a post and it is received with arms wide open, and this is exactly what occurred when I shared How to Create an Editorial Calendar for Your Blog. I actually love working on my editorial calendar, something I use every single day, and it has helped me a ridiculously amount to be more organised and blog pretty much every single day (sometimes more!). Thank you to everyone who commented, as well as those that favourited and retweeted on Twitter - you guys rock!
Head-over-heels for Charlotte Tilbury. It's happened. Charlotte Tilbury is my new luxury beauty obsession. I realise now that I may have gone a little overboard with my gushing during this post featuring an almost full face of CT and the Eyes to Mesmerise Long-Lasting Easy Cream Eyeshadow in Bette, which is pretty much a pot full of magic for your lids. Truth be told, so far I cannot fault one product I've tried, so expect to see a lot more CT on Lion in the Wild in the near future.
Louboutin lipsticks launch. Speaking of luxury beauty, the Christian Louboutin lipsticks are now available for purchase and, as expected, they're more like sculptures than a simple lipstick. My first thought was "That packaging design is insane", and then "I could buy 4 MAC lipsticks for one just one Louboutin Rouge Lip Colour". Quite literally, one lipstick will set you back over $130 AUD. But hey, it's more than just a lipstick, right?
I found my stash of Ardell false lashes. Okay, so I've never been into fake lashes. I've never been very good at applying them and have avoided them ever since a makeup artist made my eyes look like they were surrounded by a furry caterpillar (it wasn't attractive). Recently, as you know, I have really been into YouTube beauty vlogging and have been tempted to try false lashes again, so I was very happy to discover a box full of Ardell lashes amongst some old beauty products. Fingers crossed it works a little better this time!
The best at-home facial peel EVER. You guys, I am flipping out over this do-it-yourself peel I trialled this week. I don't know how to say this, but my skin has not looked this good in YEARS. Literally, YEARS! I honestly cannot believe my eyes. You'll be able to read all about my experience later next week.
Wishing you all a wonderful weekend! And Happy Father's Day, Dad (for tomorrow)!
