The Once-A-Week 5-Minute Facial
The one my skin is loving right now.
________
I still remember the first time I used the Elizabeth Arden Facial kit; I was literally crying from the horrible stinging sensation that took over my face after having the Self-Foaming Mask on for just a couple of seconds. I know, I know, why would I feature a product here that was so damn painful? Well, after finally washing it off, my skin was weirdly looking amazing. It was like my pores were clean and my complexion radiant. What the? It was then that I realised I had made a mistake before applying the Mask. I'd cleansed my skin beforehand, which isn't a good thing when you're about to use a cleansing mask. Silly, silly me!
I've since used it a few more times, making sure to do a patch test before applying it to my entire face after my first experience (and not cleansing beforehand). It does still have a very slight stinging sensation as the mask bubbles and fizzes, but nowhere near as intense and unbearable as the first time. As soon as the foam has bubbled, it disappears, which means it's time to rinse off the mask and apply the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Replenishing Serum. It comes as no surprise that this is my favourite step, since I already love the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum, and my goodness, does it feel damn good, especially after the Self-Foaming Mask.
My skin is left feeling smooth, clean and nourished, and not red in the slightest, which is why the Elizabeth Arden Ceramide Boosting 5-Minute Facial is a permanent fixture in my weekly skincare routine. The best thing? While it's a little pricey, the kit is going to last you quite a long time. I still have loads of product left despite having used it a lot already, so for me, it's worth the extra splurge.
What are your favourite at-home facial products? I'd love to know!
