Is This Product the Answer to Bigger Lips Without Surgery?

There are a zillion products out there that make promises of perfection, with the majority sadly falling short. We all know how it goes; wrinkles are diminished, pores are tightened, eyelashes are longer and fingernails stronger, or in this case, lips are bigger. And all of this is, of course, without any surgery whatsoever. The big question is, does the Transformulas LipVolume break the trend and live up to it's claims of increasing volume, definition, hydration and condition of lips? Well, you'll just have to keep reading to find out.

When you apply the LipVolume, which comes in a metal tube with flat surface applicator that allows you to put on as much or as little serum as you need, you instantly feel a cooling sensation on your lips. Honestly, it's so minty fresh that it feels like you've just brushed your teeth, but in a very good way. Then comes the slight tingling feeling that isn't anywhere near as strong as other lip plumpers, yet even at this early stage, my lips feel smoother and more moisturised.

The weird thing is that after wearing it for 30 seconds, it makes me feel like I have plumper lips and perhaps that causes me to hold them in a different way? Insert pout here. After around five minutes, I can quite clearly feel my lips gently pulsating, which must be a good sign, right? For as long as the glossy serum stays on, that lovely cooling sensation remains, which is more than welcome on a warm day like today.

Now, Transformulas recommends that you use it a few times a day for a month to see the full (or, should I say, fuller) effects of the LipVolume, and then once a day to maintain it. While I do think this is a pretty amazing lip treatment, I don't think my lips are any bigger than they were a month or so ago. The only difference I have noticed is that the area around my lips seem to be fuller, but not my lips themselves, which I guess makes overdrawing my lips with a lip pencil and lipstick look more natural. So no, I wouldn't say that the Transformulas LipVolume is the answer to bigger lips without surgery, but would say that it is a fantastic treatment for those of you looking for smoother, softer and more hydrated lips.

Now you just need to decide if it's worth the extra pennies (it retails for just under $50, so it's not particularly affordable). Probably not, unless it does actually live up to all of its promises and work for you (we're all different, so it's worth a try!).
