Easy Breezy White-On-White Spring Threads

And my favourite gladiator sandals, of course.

When the temperatures reach 30°C (and above), I always find myself reaching for light, easy breezy pieces. I feel like the summer timer went off a little earlier this year with our unusually consistent hot days (we experienced our 4th consecutive day above 30°C yesterday), so you can imagine how glad I was to find this white Mombasa Rose top in the mail late last week. I was so excited that I found myself slipping it on come Sunday, as the temperatures continued to rise and I was, for the first time this year, uncomfortably hot - one of the best things about not having air-con in our new home yet (it's coming, thank goodness!).

Paired with my white pleated shorts and Urge lace-up gladiator sandals, this oversized top with its crochet scallops is definitely a new warm weather favourite. And while it's suppose to cool down a little this week (I'm weirdly looking forward to some cooler weather already), I know I'm going to be getting a lot of wear out of it over the coming months, especially since the weather (wo)man is already predicting a ferociously hot summer. I'm going to need all the easy breezy clothing I can get!
