The Drugstore Mascara Combination I'm Loving

Do you have short and thin lashes? Then you won't want to miss this.
________

I have so many mascara's on the go at the moment that my little mascara basket is overflowing with tube after tube (and yes, I know that is not good for longevity, but I simply couldn't help myself). Of course, I have my favourites in the bunch that I reach for day after day, but there's a particular combination that I'm really fond of right now. The truth is, it takes a lot for me to love a mascara, yet even I know that that isn't the mascara's fault, but that of my lack of long and luscious eyelashes.

Alas, I was not blessed a smattering of perfectly long and curled lashes like, say, my brother (yeah, thanks Mum and Dad - like he needs them!), so I will continue to rely on slapping black waxy gel stuffs on my eyelashes to make up for what my mumma di'nt give me. Sometimes though, as some of you may realise, one mascara just isn't enough. I feel like when you walk into a drugstore for a new mascara you have to choose between having flutteringly long lashes or ridiculously bold lashes, and it's damn cruel if you ask me. You know what though? You can have the best of both worlds.

I've been adding a little length to my lashes with the Maybelline Define-A-Lash Lengthening Mascara lately, which reminds me a lot of the Eye of Horus Goddess Mascara wand in that its rubber bristles are short and firm. There's no need to worry about clumping either, as this Lengthening Mascara evenly coats each lash from root to tip, curling as it goes. Then I add a couple of coats of the Maybelline Volum' Express The Mega Plush Mascara for, you guessed it, volume! It's truly a match made in heaven for a girl who wants it all (aka. perfect voluptuous, curvaceous and fluttering lashes).

Do you ever wear two different mascaras? What is your favourite combination?
