3 Things Motivating Me to Exercise
The Spring Fitness Challenge update.
________
New Superdry workout wear. What's more motivating for any fashionista to exercise than a wardrobe brimming with fresh activewear? Not a whole lot. This week I got an exciting package from the new Superdry Sport range, which included some very cool threads perfect to keep my Spring Fitness Challenge going despite a slow start. Like anyone, the first thing I did was try on my new comfy threads and then, before I knew it, I was doing star jumps in our bedroom. Umm, what? Who am I?!
POPSUGAR Fitness videos. They're free, so I like them (yeah, I like free stuff because #mortgage). My sarcastic humour aside, the POPSUGAR Fitness YouTube is kind of brilliant. Not only is it like your very own personal stash of workouts, but they also motivate the heck out of you. A lot of them have a bunch of women in them who talk and have fun, which means I feel like I'm working out with friends as opposed to by myself with #IndiTheCat staring at me worryingly. There's so many different options depending on how much time you have (or lack there of), the goals you want to achieve and what you actually feel like doing. Truth be told, I actually get
Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak. I'm that person that can hardly walk days after an intense workout, even when I warm-up and warm-down, but the Weleda Arnica Muscle Soak has been my saving grace this month. While I'm still a little stiff for a couple of days, a hot bath and a few capfuls of the Muscle Soak (which, by the way, smells like a mix of lavender and Vicks) after each big workout means I recover a lot quicker and I'm not nearly as sore. Plus, any excuse for a relaxing bath, right?
*Pump class is actually awesome. Feel the burn!
