Summer, Sandals and Secret Santas
The weekly round-up.
________
Target for summer. Once again, Target has come through with the goods in the fashion department this season. After exploring their homewares aisle (a personal favourite!), I ended up with an armful of garments to try on, from white basics and lots of denim to strappy dresses and khaki skirts. Of course, as you may know already from my Instagram posts, I ended up with the latter, paired with a black cami and the most fabulous pair of $15 sandals ever (bargain!). I've already repeated this outfit twice this week too; I just can't get enough of the casual cool vibes of the midi skirt.
Christmas is next week. Say what now?! Umm, how did that happen? I feel like I have a mountain of work to do, but thankfully I've finished all of my Christmas shopping. Last night we celebrated our annual Christmas Dinner with my favourite ladies by eating lots of pizza and exchanging Secret Santas - so much fun! I'm actually taking some time off between Christmas and New Years, which is the first proper holiday I've had in, well, a very long time. I never thought I'd be so excited to simply do nothing. For now though, I'm going to push through and finish almost all of the blog posts for that period. Hey, ho, let's go!
Stuck for gift ideas? If you've still got some shopping to do for Christmas, then no doubt you're stuck for ideas. I shared with you a few beauty(ful) gift guides this week, including the best of the best limited edition skincare and makeup sets, as well as a whole bunch of amazing pampering stocking fillers. You'd be wise to get in quick though, and don't forget to make note of the shipping cut off dates. You don't want your presents to arrive late!
Getting organised for 2016. This week I also shared with you my top diary picks for the New Year, ensuring you make the most of the 365 days ahead (and stick to your resolutions!). I've already started jotting down little things here and there in my new 2016 Diary by The Collective, but I'm super excited to spend time over the break organising the year, making goals and hopefully jotting in a holiday or three. What do you have planned for 2016?
Summer foundations. I have a lot of summer beauty content coming up over the next month or so, but one of the most exciting (and probably most informative and helpful) will be going up next week. I've tested the foundation range of one of my current favourite beauty brands and have compiled a list of what's good for what type of skin, weather and finish. It's pretty much the foundation bible for summer - a must read!
