The Catch-Up: Coffee and Donuts

The Weekly Catch-Up.
________

Another week, another weekly catch-up. As we do every weekend, not only do I want to talk to you about the highlights of my week, but I also want to know about yours! Have you tried an amazing new product? Or perhaps you were disappointed by one? Did you cook a new meal or discover a delicious cafe? No matter what it is, I'd love to know! After all, Lion in the Wild is all about conversation, getting to know each other and discovering new things.

Coffee and donuts. Rain, rain, go away, come again another day. Or stick around if you want to. I'm thoroughly enjoying today's chill-out session, along with a plate of delicious donuts and never-ending cups of coffee. Usually Brad and I would be out and about, making the most of a day off and the sunshine, but this rain has got us confined to the walls of our house and it's truly blissful. Sometimes all you need is a downpour for an excuse to simply relax (a rarity in Perth).

Swimming (and washing my hair). Weird combination, right? Wrong. I have been taking so many dips in the ocean over the last couple of weeks (in complete contrast to today's rain) that I ended up washing my hair five days in a row, a record for me. I even ran out of conditioner (sob). Despite that though, I feel like Brad and I are finally making the most of our beachside residence after weekends on end of finishing our house. It's definitely worth all the hard work!

Eco Coco coconuts. Speak of washing my hair, this week I got the most bright and summery delivery in the form of the Eco Coco (just let that one roll of the tongue) Mermaid Hair & Body Pack.  Thank goodness too, since my hair cannot live without a good treatment and a thick layer of conditioner. Aside from the beautiful blue packaging, I am super impressed by everything, from the shampoo and conditioner to the hair treatment and body wash - not surprising considering the coconut oil aspect of the products. Did I mention how delicious it smells? Ahh.

The #7DayMakeupChallenge. That's right, the second instalment of the 7 Day Makeup Challenge is beginning once again on Monday, after its success last year (not to forget the Skincare Challenge either). I have so many products I've been meaning to try for the last couple of months, so this is a great way to get through that collection and discover some new favourites along the way. If you join in this time, make sure you use the #7DayMakeupChallenge tag on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, which is where I'll be sharing my look and experience each day. Of course, there will be a round-up post the following week too.

The Parcel Project.  This week I got the most lovely package delivered to my door from The Parcel Project, a new delivery gifting service. Being the middle of the week, the Recharge Yourself parcel was the perfect way to relax and rejuvenate after a busy week (yes, even though we had a public holiday on Tuesday!). I was so impressed by the quality of the gifts - everything from delicious tea, a luxurious candle, relaxing lavender eye pillow and beautiful bath foam - that I just had to share it with you. Needless to say, choosing gifts and surprising your loved ones has just got easier!

I can't wait to read all about your week! Have a wonderful weekend everyone! x
