3 New Cult Beauty Buys You Need to Try
The ones that are worth their cult status.
________
Three products. Three cult beauty products that I've been wanting to try for a long time, yet hadn't got around to making the purchase. And then I discovered all three at RY.com.au and I knew I had to have them. Surely it was a sign, right?
As soon as they arrived at my doorstep, I couldn't help but throw away the pretty packaging and begin trialling them straight away. Yeah, I was super excited. I mean, here I had three cult makeup products that I've only read raving reviews about. How could I possibly not use them when I finally got my hands on them? So, are they worth the cult status? You'll have to read on to find out.
It seems that Becca has been taking the beauty world by storm recently and I haven't failed to notice. Probably the most raved about product is the Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector Pressed, which I have in the shade Moonstone. I've heard around the street that it is the most dazzling highlighter and they weren't wrong. Applied with a light hand, it creates a stunning, natural looking illumination that is pretty damn hard to beat.
I've been a gel-and-powder girl for a long time, but you wouldn't have to twist my arm to make an exception for the Anastasia Beverley Hills Brow Wiz. I've watched many a beauty vlogger work magic with the Brow Wiz and, with a light hand, it turns out you can fill-in your brows without those sharp, harsh, unnatural lines. Instead, you're left with thick brows that look au naturale. No complaints here! Oh, and by the way, I'm wearing the shade Soft Brown.
It might be drugstore, but this palette has sold out almost everywhere. Anytime I've gone to hunt it down, I've come back empty handed and disappointed. When I spotted it in stock at RY.com.au I couldn't believe my eyes. And now I finally understand why the Maybelline The Nudes Eyeshadow Palette of creamy, pigmented, neutral shades has been so popular. It's a perfect everyday palette, whether you want to create a light, natural eye or something a little more smokey. It's definitely a keeper.
