The Catch-Up: Organising My Calendar & Office
Our weekly conversation.
________
Another week, another weekly catch-up. As we do every weekend, not only do I want to talk to you about the highlights of my week, but I also want to know about yours! Did you finish reading a book? Start a new routine? Or celebrate something exciting? No matter what it is, I'd love to know! After all, Lion in the Wild is all about conversation, getting to know each other and discovering new things.
A new editorial calendar. So, after a lot of thinking, I've decided to change things up a bit on Lion in the Wild. Well, just slightly anyway. Instead of posting every single day, we'll be scheduling content five times a week, which will allow us to create even higher quality posts that we all know you love. Style, beauty and life, they're all going to be in the mix each week, so make sure you stay tuned. And, of course, if there is anything you want to see here, let us know!
We finally got our lounges! After months and months of waiting, after they were made in the wrong fabric, our lounges were finally delivered in their perfect cool grey shade. We were wondering whether we should've just kept the darker ones, but I'm so glad we were patent because they're absolutely perfect for our space. It's a relief to know we chose the right shade. Now we really just need a side table, a couple of stools, artwork, an ottoman and indoor plant to finish off our living area (not that much, right?). Slowly, but surely. Still, it's nice to know that hard work is paying off.
The weekend getaway vlog. As it turns out, I really like vlogging. Who would've thought? I must say, it's probably no surprise considering they're some of my favourite types of YouTube videos to watch. And while I'm still a little awkward talking to a camera, I'm hoping that you all still enjoyed this week's Weekend Getaway Vlog, which we filmed when Brad and I went down south a couple of weekends ago.
The most versatile dress. I think I'm in-love. And no, I'm not talking about Brad. I'm talking about this Shona Joy Ruffle Mini Dress that arrived on my doorstep this week. Now, I don't wear a lot of strappy garments, yet somehow this dress has made me totally change my mind. It's über flattering, comfortable and, well, ridiculously chic. I actually wanted it in the high neck style, but I'm so glad I decided to go strappy. Ah yes, you'll be seeing this one soon.
Organising my office. Guess who finally got around to organising her office? I'll admit, we've been in our house for almost a year now, yet the space has become somewhat of a drop zone and the dining room table my makeshift office. Yeah, it was about time I got my act together. I'm excited to source a few extra things and decorate it over the coming months, and transform it into a space in which I want to get creative and spend, well, almost all of my time in (let's get real here).
Don't forget, I'd love to know about your week too, so make sure you join the conversation below. x
