5 New Things You Need to Try From Lush

From powders to bars, I'm obsessed.
________

I'm sure you guys don't know this yet from the multiple blog posts that have found their way onto Lion in the Wild, but I am obsessed with Lush. Obsessed. And it's not just the mesmerising scent that wafts into my home whenever I open up a new delivery that keeps me coming back for more. It's the fact that their truly brilliant products find their sneaky little way into my day-to-day beauty routine and seem to not only make my skin feel ah-mazing, but also adds a touch of happiness into each moment. Yeah, I told you I love Lush. What can I say? I'm an emotional person.

While I have my usual favourites - [cough] 9 to 5 Cleanser - I really can't help but try their creative new releases on a regular basis because, let's face it, they're fun and they're awesome. So, today I'm sharing with you the five new things from Lush that you really need to try.
________

1. Wash That Man Right Out of My Hair Shower Gel - Could the savvy and humorous names get any better? Seriously!? This Shower Gel is unlike any other that I've tried from Lush before with the lack of a sugary-sweet scent, which has been replaced with a mature concoction of guava, fig, jasmine, rose, ylang ylang and lavender. Comically, it's been said to wash any unwanted men away, so I'll probably save this one for when Brad gets really annoying on one of his sugar highs. Heh-heh-heh.

2. The Rough with the Smooth - The new Lush Solid Body Scrub is for anyone that wants smooth, glowing skin that has an addictive sugary scent (in the best possible way). While the solid bar of sugar and murumuru butter can get a little crumbly during application, it's best to break bits off as you go to avoid any wastage. You'll want to savour this one as long as you can, trust me.

3. Calm Down Calamine - I'll be the first to admit that it feels kind of strange to apply a powder on your limbs when needing a little sun protection, but hey, if someone can do it, it's Lush (I learnt that last year when I fell for the Limited Edition First Snow Sparkling Dusting Powder). Infused with a combination of fruity and earthy aromas, a light dusting of this on the skin not only fragrances the skin, but also provides SPF 15 sun protection, which is perfect for the sunny Australian autumn.

4. Granny Takes a Dip Bubble Bar - I've never met a Lush Bubble Bar I didn't like and this one is no different. Sure, it's a on the smaller side compared to the other Bubble Bars, but it's well worth the purchase if you're a sucker for ginger and lemon with a hint of pepper, like me. I'm putting the rest of this one away for when I catch one of those nasty winter head colds because we all know I will.

5. Pink Flamingo Bubble Bar - I have to admit, when it comes to Bubble Bars, I've become impartial to the effortless on-a-stick variety. Simply pop it under the running water and your bath will be pretty, pink and bubble-icious before you know it. The best thing is that not only does it leave skin soft thanks to its luxurious macadamia nut oil, but it'll also last for several baths, so book those relaxing pamper sessions in ladies and gentlemen! You deserve it.

What have you tried from Lush recently? I'd love to know what to try next!
