GOSSIP GIRL 101

Once donned in this outfit, I almost thought twice about actually wearing it. Why? Well, I felt like a naughty school girl. After closer examination however, it became apparent that the outfit is less suited for a pimps and hoes party and more appropriate for an early episode of Gossip Girl (minus the headband and Chuck Bass, swoon). There are certain elements that take this outfit to the next level: the studs on the blazer, the asymmetry of the skirt and the metal details on the boots. Truth be told, I went a little crazy over at Wittner.com.au last week during their massive shoe sale, adding a further three pairs of heels to my forever growing collection. Its about time I put my beloved to work on my wardrobe or my hoard of shoes will start creeping over to his wardrobe. Anyway, there really is nothing like a good dose of closet inspiration.

Since Indi can't possibly be in a room by herself, she took the liberty to contribute to the above photo shoot. And doesn't she do it justice? Please though, do yourself a favour and do not judge Indi by her bright blue eyes, perfect soft coat and adorableness - this girl is the epitome of mischief. She has been running a muck for the last (almost) two weeks since she's been home, making me feel at least double my age. I think I finally understand the stress I put my parents through as a young child, chucking temper-tantrums and getting up to no good (I was no angel child). Despite her shenanigans, she sure does keep things interesting whilst working from home.
