WISH STYLE CHALLENGE

With a collection entitled The Castaway, how could I not shoot the Wish Style Challenge along our beautiful west coast? Looking back through the photograph's we shot, it reminds me of a time Brad and I wandered down to the beach after a wedding. It was the perfect ending to a day of romance. As soon as I received the Petal Dress by Wish, we knew instantly that such a stunning dress would feel right at home by the ocean, in all of its emerald glory.

Styled with a handmade statement necklace by the talented Nat Kent, a chunky ID necklace wrapped around the wrist and stacked gold rings from Dex Salon, the Petal Dress couldn't be anymore feminine or fabulous. In contrast to the soft silk, I chose to toughen things up a little with my killer lace-up booties, with their gold detailing.

Here in Perth we very rarely have a sombre sunset, especially at this time of the year when the clouds are thin and wispy. While we only spent less than a couple of hours shooting, the lighting changed drastically during that time. It seemed like every time I turned around, it was a completely different sunset, channeling such an array of both saturated and pale colours.

Today marks the start of my birthday week! I'll be heading to a winery with my family this afternoon for gourmet pizza and top notch wine under the warm sun. To be honest, birthday's now days are the perfect excuse to catch-up with the people than mean the most to you, something that doesn't happen nearly enough.

Happy Sunday!
