PARKROYAL ON PICKERING

You may be surprised that the one word I'd use to describe this luxury concept hotel is fake, but ParkRoyal on Pickering is anything but. Boasting all the grandeur of a five-star hotel, ParkRoyal on Pickering takes a step outside the box and into the jungle with it's concept, which of course is the natural environment. Contoured exterior cave-like layers covered in real life sky gardens successfully bring the outside in, so you could be forgiven for failing to remember that you're actually in the middle of Singapore's bustling city.

When staying at ParkRoyal on Pickering, the Orchid Club is a must. We're luckily enough to be residing on the highest floor, and taking full advantage of the Club benefits (of which there are many).  My personal favourites? Champagne breakfast, afternoon tea, cocktail hour and the free wifi, naturally.

Needless to say, neither Brad nor I will be looking forward to leaving this city oasis behind tomorrow,  but hey, there are even bigger and better destinations to explore!
