A Colourful Christmas in July with Lush
The gift that keeps on giving.
________
In the name of research, I had a bath this morning. Not that we need an excuse, right? And let's be honest, even for a blogger, that isn't really a legitimate excuse to soak in a warm, sweet-smelling bath for 30-minutes 45-minutes at 11:00AM (that's not even shower time!). Oh well. It happened, it was blissful and I don't regret it one bit (heh-heh-heh).
Anyway, back to it. It's no secret that I just adore Lush; there's no denying that it's a really great brand and that their products continuously blow all expectations out of the park. And just when you think it couldn't get any better, they bring out a whole bunch of their amazing limited edition Christmas products to celebrate Christmas in July! Now, I'm not usually one for gimmicky products, but Lush just do them so damn well.

THE LOWDOWN:
I was definitely excited the most over the Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb. There's something so magical about a bath bomb that just makes me happy - the way they fizz in your hand as you place them into the water and then, in the case of this one, breaks up into colourful bubbling circles and swirls. Seriously, how flipping cool does it look?! Once I jumped in, I was left with a beautiful sweet lavender scent and a very pink bath.
I haven't had a chance to try the Candy Mountain Bubble Bar, but if it's anything like The Comforter, it's going to become a go-to during my weekly bath session. It has a very strong delicious fragrance like most Lush products, which I'm going to assume would be much fainter once used. The Bubble Bars also last forever (I only just used up the last of The Comforter, which I bought late last year!), as you can break them up into various sizes, depending on how many bubbles you want.
As well as my all-time favourite 9 to 5 Cleansing Lotion, I also used the So White Shower Gel, which has a slight shimmer that you can't really see once on the skin, though a nice little feature nonetheless. What I like the most about this shower gel is that it lathers up easily and is very moisturising with the addition of almond oil. I love my baths quite hot, which isn't too good on the skin, so it's nice not having to spend time out in the cold moisturising afterwards (though, I really should be).
I really want to try the Lush Christmas Kisses, Egg Snog Lip Balm (such a good name!) and the Snow Angel Bath Melt as well. Yeah, my wish list is huuuuge.Anyway, back to it.
