The Balm My Lips Can't Live Without

Seriously, this is the best lip balm I've ever tried.
________

Just because we're through with another dry winter, doesn't mean we can all of a sudden stop our efforts to keep out lips moisturised and hydrated. Oh no, it does not work that way, as much as we wish it did. Unfortunately for me, I feel like chapped lips are a constant battle throughout the year, even when the weather is a little less harsh. And then everything changed.

A while ago I decided to pick up a copy of Harper's Bazaar, or was it Vogue? I forget. Either way though, I'm glad I did because it had one of those 'gifts with purchase' that I'm usually skeptical about. I was a sucker for them when I was a young teen, but not so much anymore. While I probably haven't touched the fashion magazine since the month I purchased it, I've been reaching for the 'gift with purchase' almost every night since. And now? Well, I swear by it.

Introducing the best ever 'gift with purchase' ever, the Lanolips Fruities 101 Ointment in Peach. Not only does it smell seriously delicious, it also works a treat. Don't get me wrong, I still reach for a bunch of other great lip balms like the Grown Alchemist Watermelon and Vanilla Lip Balm, Burt's Bees Beeswax Lip Balm and Mecca Cosmetica Lip De Luscious SPF 25, but it's the Lanolips Ointment that I use every single night. In fact, if I had a side table, I'd probably have a few stored away inside of it, but for now (as we upgrade our furniture), the spot next to my bed does the trick.

I actually cannot fall asleep without it now, and Brad can attest to this as I scramble for it in the darkness each night and smother the multi-purpose balm all over my lips. If I have any particularly dry patches on my lips or cuticles, I massage a little into them as well (ah, the beauty of a multi-purpose balm!). And voila! I wake up with hydrated, soft and plump lips, without fail, every time.
