Sandals of the Season: The Gladiator

I was meant to publish this post yesterday, but as I described here on the @lioninthewild Instagram, I really didn't feel like it after a slightly traumatic afternoon. It's nothing serious, I promise, and I'll be totally fine, but at the end of the day, this is a personal blog and I want to keep things real around here. Sometimes it looks all find and dandy from the outside, but you know what? It's fine if it isn't. We all go through ups and downs, and that's okay. That's just life. Keep an eye out at the end of the week for our weekly round-up post, where I'll talk a little more about what happened (it's really not a big deal, trust me!).

Speaking of, the last weekly round-up post I mentioned a pair of amazing lace-up gladiator sandals that I managed to get my hands on and I promised to share them with you this week. Well, ladies and gentlemen, here they are; the Urge Festival Tan Gladiator Sandals. I told you they wouldn't disappoint. In fact, now I've decided it just wouldn't be right to not have them in the black as well. Agreed? Agreed.

For the rest of today I'm probably going to take it fairly easy, re-watch a little One Tree Hill and write a few posts for the rest of the week. I think my dad is going to come visit this afternoon as well, so that should make me much happier after yesterday's unfortunately events. You can always trust your parents to take care of you, even when you're 'grown up' and have been living out of home for years!
